VOLUNTEER
There are many ways to volunteer, such as these….
- Participate in a weekly fellowship dinner in a community of poverty in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico (near McAllen, Texas).
- Help our neighbors learn English, and practice Spanish if you are learning Spanish, in “language fiesta” events in which Spanish and English speakers gather for food, fun, and mutual language practice.
- Help raise funds, whether you are located in our area, or anywhere else. We can help you get started.
- Do you have skills in planning, administration, medical professions, teaching English, teaching vocational skills, teaching computer skills, business counseling, relational counseling, tutoring children, mentoring youth, handyman skills, or other areas? Join our bank of volunteers, so we can let you know about appropriate volunteer opportunities as they arise.

DONATE
Donations are always welcome and will be very well spent. Funds will be used for projects such as these:
- Target of $100 USD per week for food for weekly fellowship dinners in a community of poverty.
- Target of $500 USD in 2009 for books and DVDs used in study-action groups and programs aimed at mobilizing local churches to engage in direct relational practical ministry in the community.
- Target of $1,000/month to hire a Mexican Christian community development worker to work in a community of poverty, in collaboration with the study-action group, the residents, and local volunteers.
Donations are tax-deductible. Contact us for payment instructions.
